Last year I completed my Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree. Looking for a new challenge, I found Forze Hydrogen Racing to be a great opportunity to combine my passion for motorsport with my interest in innovative, sustainable engineering. The role of Fuel Cell Engineer suited this combination perfectly.

In my function as Fuel Cell Engineer, I am responsible for the development and improvement of the fuel cell system. This involves working on both the hydrogen and oxygen supply, to provide the best conditions for the fuel cell to reliably produce as much power as possible. This way, we can be competitive in a field of combustion engine cars as the only hydrogen fuel cell race car in the world!

What I find the most exciting about my work at Forze is that I am able to apply the knowledge I gained during my study in the engineering challenges we face. Being responsible for the full process of designing a new component, realising it and physically integrating it in the car is a unique experience. This always involves collaborating with other team members, who are all specialists in their respective fields. Together we can prove the potential of hydrogen through a high performance application!
