Bram Staps|Vehicle Dynamics Engineer
After completing my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology, I was seeking something new. Being passionate about motorsports, I was quickly led to Forze Hydrogen Racing. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to apply my newly acquired knowledge in practice, while contributing to a project that I am passionate about and see great potential in.
As a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, I focus on understanding and improving the car’s suspension and handling. What I love most about my role is the direct connection between the car and the racetrack. Every day, I work closely with the mechanical aspects of the Forze IX and have the privilege of enhancing its performance by designing new components or improving existing ones. During tests and races, I apply this knowledge to optimize the Forze IX's suspension for specific track conditions, enabling us to extract the maximum performance from our vehicle.
