As a Mechanical Engineering student at TU Delft with a passion for engineering and technology, I am excited to join Forze Hydrogen Racing Team 20. From a young age, I have always enjoyed repairing and improving technical systems, like taking apart and fixing mopeds. Joining Forze gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for technology with my interest in the hydrogen industry while continuing to learn how to be an engineer.
As a Simulation & Control Engineer, I am responsible for the control systems of the Forze hydrogen race car. My work focuses on designing, improving, and testing both new and existing control systems to maximize the car’s performance. By combining simulation models with practical testing and validation, I contribute to developing control systems that perform reliable.
What motivates me most about this role is the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge from my Mechanical Engineering studies to the real engineering world. Working alongside a motivated team of students allows me to learn while contributing to the development of hydrogen racing technology. Through this experience I hope to gain valuable engineering experience, and help demonstrate that hydrogen-powered vehicles can deliver high-performance solutions in the energy and tech industry.
